2026 Annual Meeting

Virginia Bariatric Society Annual Meeting in Roanoke, VA, July 17-18, 2026.

Join us for The Virginias Bariatric Society 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place July 17–18, 2026 at the beautiful Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. A Roanoke Valley icon since 1882, this historic hotel seamlessly blends past and present.

The VBS is excited to offer an outstanding lineup of nationally recognized and regional leaders in metabolic and bariatric surgery, delivering timely, practical, and thought-provoking education.

Over two days, attendees will engage in forward-thinking discussions, explore evolving best practices, and connect with colleagues dedicated to advancing bariatric and metabolic care across the Virginias.

Beyond the educational sessions, the meeting offers outstanding opportunities to network and reconnect. Join us Friday evening for the Welcome Reception and Casino Night—back by popular demand—and don't miss VBS After Dark on Saturday following the Keynote Speaker Dinner. Our keynote speaker, Dr. J. James Jung of Duke University School of Medicine, will present Applied AI in Surgical Care: What Works Today and How to Build It.

Whether you are a surgeon, advanced practice provider, psychologist, or part of the multidisciplinary bariatric team, this meeting offers valuable insights you can bring directly back to your practice.
