All educational sessions will be held in the Roanoke Ballroom CD.
REGISTRATION: Registration opens at 9am on Friday. Please visit the registration desk in the the North Entry to pick up your meeting materials, name badge, and gift! The registration desk will be open throughout the meeting. Feel free to visit the desk with any questions or concerns.
FRIDAY WELCOME RECEPTION: Kick off the Annual Meeting at our Welcome Reception & Casino Night on Friday from 5:30–7:30 PM in Roanoke Ballroom E–H. Enjoy an open bar, delicious appetizers while reconnecting with colleagues and meeting new attendees.
Try your luck at blackjack, craps, and roulette in this family-friendly event. Everyone will receive "funny money" to place bets—no real gambling involved, just plenty of fun! Whether you're a seasoned card player or trying the tables for the first time, this is a great way to start the weekend. Two lucky winners with the most tickets at the end of the night will win a gift card!
SATURDAY KEYNOTE DINNER: Dr. James Jung from Duke will be our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Jung will address: A.I. in Surgery. There will be a cocktail reception at 5:30 PM in the Pocahontas Foyer followed by a seated dinner starting at 6 PM in the Pocahontas Room. There is no additional cost to attend this dinner. Dress is business attire.
VBS AFTER DARK: Virginia Bourbon Society Karaoke Party
Cap off the Annual Meeting with VBS AFTER DARK: the Virginia Bourbon Society Karaoke Party! Join us beginning at 7:30 PM on Saturday evening in Club aka at The Hotel Roanoke for a fun and relaxed night of networking and entertainment. Guests are welcome to attend. Enjoy a full bar, delicious appetizers, and a curated selection of specially ordered bourbons available for sampling. Whether you're ready to take the stage or simply cheer on your colleagues, this is the perfect way to wrap up the meeting. Please note! This year's VBS After Dark will be held at the Hotel Roanoke. Per hotel policy, outside food and beverages are not permitted.
VENDORS / RAFFLES: Our wonderful exhibitors will be set up in Roanoke Ballroom AB. Visit all of the vendors to be entered into a raffle to win either a Bose speaker or Shokz earbuds. There will be two lucky winners! Raffle prizes awarded at the end of the sessions on Saturday.
